Monique is a highly experienced financial strategist who builds and translates deep financial metrics into investor conviction.

With 20+ year experience in accounting, banking, CFO, CEO, board positions and  corporate finance, she leads rigorous transaction design and execution processes.

Monique’s experience with several early commercial as well as multinational corporations and financial institutions enables her to effectively negotiate, communicate and understand complex financial issues and objectives while managing the relationship between founders, boards, internal and external stakeholders.

Career History:

  • CFO and CEO of a number of client companies;

  • Member of the European Fixed Income Division of Goldman Sachs International, involved in a variety of roles covering support of activities and development of structured products while also being responsible for Fixed Income compliance for the Frankfurt office;

  • Member of Morgan Stanley’s derivatives risk management team, focusing on risk assessment and supervision of the bank’s equity derivatives exposures;

  • 8 years of experience as an auditor with KPMG covering Transport & Distribution, Financial Services and Construction sectors;

  • Registered Accountant with the Royal Dutch Institute of Chartered Accountants (NIVRA);

  • Postgraduate degree in Accountancy;

  • Bachelor in Information Management at Nijenrode University – The Netherlands Business School
